Reach the right people
Qualified reach, non-follower reach, profile visits
Branded search, direct visits, new relevant followers
More of the intended audience enters your world
The social media metrics that matter depend on the job of the content. Choose one primary measure for that job, one useful supporting signal, and one business outcome where you can observe it. A large dashboard is not a measurement strategy.

A save can support an educational post. It does not prove a sale. A click can support a traffic goal. It does not prove that the visitor was qualified.
Qualified reach, non-follower reach, profile visits
Branded search, direct visits, new relevant followers
More of the intended audience enters your world
Watch time, completion, saves, shares, useful replies
Guide visits, return visits, questions that show understanding
People use, remember, or pass on the idea
Relevant comments and direct messages
Qualified enquiries, booked calls, community participation
A useful relationship moves forward
Link clicks and offer responses
Leads, trials, bookings, purchases, attributed revenue
A measurable business action occurs
Likes, reach, and saves are observations inside a platform. Business outcomes happen farther along the journey. Keep the handoff visible.
01
Someone saw, watched, saved, replied, or clicked.
02
The person visited, enquired, signed up, booked, or bought.
03
The action created value that the business can define and measure.
If the handoff is not tracked, say so. “This post earned 40 saves” is useful evidence. “Those saves created revenue” is a different claim and needs different data.
A dashboard should answer a question, preserve the comparison context, and end with what changes next.
Did practical carousels help potential customers understand the service?
Qualified guide visits from the carousel posts
Save rate, because the post was designed as a reference
Organic LinkedIn posts, same audience and four-week window
Keep the format, change the first slide, and compare the next four
Confirm delivery and catch a broken link, crop, or tracking problem.
Log the job, format, topic, primary measure, and one useful observation.
Decide what to keep, try, or stop. Do not rewrite strategy from one unusual post.
